Hamzat Unveils Blueprint for Greater Lagos

Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the gubernatorial candidate, today officially unveiled his campaign manifesto, titled 'A Blueprint for a Greater Lagos.' The detailed 100-point agenda serves as a roadmap for the state's development over the next four years, focusing heavily on technology integration, infrastructural transformation, qualitative education, and accessible healthcare.

Speaking at the launch event in Ikeja, Dr. Hamzat emphasized that the document is not just a list of promises, but a carefully engineered action plan. 'Lagos is a megacity that requires deliberate, data-driven leadership. Our blueprint addresses the immediate concerns of Lagosians while laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth,' he said.

Key highlights of the blueprint include the digitalization of all state civil services, the creation of a tech-focused Special Economic Zone, and the rehabilitation of key inner-city roads. The candidate also pledged to establish a dedicated fund for small businesses and startup incubators in underserved local governments.
