Building Lagos' Future Through Youth Engagement

The campaign today hosted the Lagos Youth Empowerment Summit, marking the launch of the 'Lagos Tech Futures' initiative. The event, held at the Landmark Event Centre, drew thousands of young entrepreneurs, developers, and creatives from across the state.

The initiative aims to equip over 500,000 young Lagosians with high-demand digital skills over the next four years. Partnering with leading tech firms, the program will offer fully funded training in software engineering, artificial intelligence, product design, and digital marketing.

Addressing the audience, the campaign representatives emphasized that the future of Lagos belongs to its youth. 'We are not just training people to seek jobs; we are fostering a generation of builders, innovators, and problem solvers who will lead the state's economy,' they noted.

Applications for the first cohort of the program will open next week. The curriculum will combine intensive coursework with industry internships and mentorship from seasoned professionals.
